Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online (discord is Zata#5981) Experience: Literally just finished reading the book in the starter kit I got at a convention earlier this year. Location/Timezone: EDT (UTC-4) Availability: Monday through Thursday at 8pm to 11pm, Friday through Sunday from 1pm to 11pm (weekend days may vary sometimes and I might be held up until about 4pm or so on one of the days). Preferred role: Player Game style: as casual as possible.
So, last year I went to PAX Unplugged and picked up the starter box for 5e and some dice while I was there. I come from a background of play-by-post forum RPs, though those were all strictly narrative, with no mechanics or anything — just storytelling with friends. I stopped a few years back when the forum and community I was apart of was tragically deleted because the owner of the forum forgot to renew his domain and everything was wiped out with no backups. I've recently gotten the itch to RP again, but I figured I would try something structured this time. I love making builds in games as much as I like to RP. I have no game stores or comic shops nearby that I could join, so a friend who lives far away and does his own campaigns recommended this site to try and find a group. I'm not used to RPing with people on voice chat, but I wasn't comfortable RPing in general until I stuck my neck out and tried it. Anyone willing to take me on?
