Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online / Roll20 Experience: A few years (20-30 sessions a year) Location/Timezone: GMT Availability: 2pm-2am, 3-5 days a week. Preferred role: Player Game style: Casual/Roleplay (Never tried Hardcore?)
Hey. My name's Kyle, mid 20's and I'm looking to get into a group to have a laugh with. I've got around 300 hours on Roll20 over the past few years playing a session every other week or so but I'm now looking to put in a some extra sessions.
I enjoy games that are semi-serious (nobody wants to die!) and have room for improvised tactics and/or scenarios in the right moments as long as they aren't detrimental to the overall situation. I'm more than willing to roll with the punches and I don't mind playing a Good or Evil campaign as long as we aren't, to quote Matt Mercer, "Murder Hobo's".
I've made a good few memorable moments over a few years and I just want to make more!
- My Bard failed roll upon roll against Bandits and for a good few months believed Bandits were nothing but tax-collectors. Nobody else in the group felt the need to tell me otherwise.
- Same Bard triumphantly rode a Wild Giant Goat out of a nearby forest to their camp after godly Animal Handling and Nature checks whilst force-feeding this beast with numerous herb's he'd picked up. He failed his final check once the group decided this charging animal needed to be halted and the group's Cleric forever claimed she was the one who tamed it. Bard resents that still to this day.
- Half-Orc leapt 15ft off a wall onto an escaping Riding Horse (noticing a theme here?) because he was getting infuriated by the fact mounted combatants could run away from him, completely forgot these guys were panicking and was briskly taken 120ft away from the group mid-combat. Later that same day, persuaded the Air Genasi to Levitate his horse so they could descend a cliff-face and absolutely panicked as his newfound balloon wasn't attached to anything.
If you reckon you'd keep me around even after the antics I'd be happy to play even a single session. I am GMT (Europe) but I have large availability and could be free in other time-zones.
If you made it this far, throw me a message! Take care.
Hi, I'd love to join and have played a few times. I love playing wizards or sorcerers and am keen to find a group. Sadly I am 12 hours apart from you being in New Zealand and am in school (i'm 11)until 3:00 NZST however we might be able to sort something out. Thanks a-lot.
I'd love to join as well. I'm in the US, but I need a daytime slot so this would work out fine. I'm in my 40's and have been playing D&D off and on since childhood, but never online. I just want some casual mix of roleplay and combat where we can joke around, but also be serious enough to solve problems and destroy the enemies.
I'm 40 and haven't played since 2e when I was younger but I'm looking for a group to run with online and have fun. I have never played online and very interested on seeing what it's like.
