Our preferred game would ideally be 100% Discord with DnD Beyond for reference points and character sheets. Some kind of tabletop simulator would be nice too but hasn't been decided on.
Main Preferred Ruleset/Gameplay: Playstyle: 5e but some homebrew elements are okay. A mix of fighting and story is preferred. We are fine with roleplay and combat doesn't have to be every session. Around 65/35. Characters: We randomly generated some Lvl 8 characters here in DnD Beyond because life on the edge ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . We'd like to start at a high level because none of us have done a high level game before. We are not afraid of our characters dying. None of that pansy gameplay ya feel my fellow thiccc bois? Players Info: There's 3 of us. I, TwoPoint, don't have much experience but I am in a campaign with Mitch, who is the most experience of us 3, with a few years behind him (mainly Dm'ing but wants to play as a player). The other guy hasn't played in a few years but he's cool i guess ( ; World Info: Surprise us. Mitch has several source books here in DnD Beyond that can be shared to better our experience. (Players Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, Guild Master's guide to Ravnica, Volo's Guide to Monsters) Generally what we're looking for, but in bold: For a DM we're looking for someone who's comedic but can tell a good story. For players we're looking for high energy and positive (not necessarily lawful good) people who aren't self centered around their own characters and can share the story spotlight. It helps to be interested in the other player's characters and background. Some experience is preferred, but if you don't have any experience at all we're more than willing to walk through with you and hold hands but in bold. Having a mic is a necessity. Schedule: whatever man, but 2 of us are EST and 1 Central US.
