I know this is an old post. I DM my own at my house where I have created my own DnD table. I am looking to find a group that I can be an actual player and not DM for a change. If you or anyone is still looking to start something or has something going that they are willing to add another player, please let me know. I live in JC , TN and don't mind going anywhere in the Tricities for this.

Hi there. That could work. Let's chat sometime and we'll see what we can do. I have two options, one in-person game, and potentially a new streaming game. What days would you be available. For either the in-person or streaming game.

for online i can do just about anytime but in person it would probably onlly be about once a month its a bit a drive to get to where you are from asheville  

I could do online or in person in the evenings after 7 or whenever on the weekends.  Played some one shots in 5E but not a full length campaign.

CaptainBlackheart, JDP423, let's see about getting a bi-weekly evening game going. Maybe, just shooting from the hip here, the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. I have embraced D&D 2024 update, and use DnDBeyond.com's maps. So it would be best if you created characters in DnDBeyond. If that's acceptable, let me see about getting two more people (I have two interested) and we can firm this up.

One note though. Summer is coming and I have a 3 week trip planned for late June. Shouldn't affect us much with bi-weekly games.

Gotcha, thank you sir. I’ve mocked up several characters through DNDBeyond using the 2024 rules, just so I can wrap my head around the changes a little.

The changes are pretty much spread throughout. The big things are: If you have a favorite spell, check the new version it may have changed. (Spiritual Weapon is now a concentration spell for example) The Druid class has been revamped. For the better I think. I'm currently playing a 2024 Ranger (Hunter subclass) and it feels great. Love it. I'd definitely recommend buying the 2024 PHB (physical copy too if you can swing it) as it has really been improved in my opinion.

Let's get another reply in here and we'll get things started maybe soon.
