Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: New Location/Timezone: UK GMT+1 Availability: weekends Preferred role: Player Game style: casual, roleplay.
I've watched 40+ episodes of "Critical Role" so im familiar to some of the terms and gameplay. I know better than to expect it to be the same experience, im simply looking to find a group to play with in general.
I own a couple set of dies and have physical copies of the player's handbook, monster manual and dungeon master's guide (it was a bundle purchase) although I do not own any digital versions or any other books.
I'm quite friendly, I love gaming so if anyone is willing to take in a newbie it'd be great (i may have a friend or two should anyone be interested in more new players)
I can't dm but if one pops up then I'd be willing to join. I'm in the USA but I work evenings so my schedule may work better with you than my fellow yankees.
I'm also UK based and would be up for DMing. I'm a bit rusty (last campaign I ran was a pathfinder group during university) but I've played 5e for a good few years and want to get back the DM side of the game. I can see 5 people have already expressed interest (plus a another EU person in another thread that I've already offered to DM for) so between you I think we have a potential group (scheduling permitting). I don't particularly want to DM for 6 people on discord (I know it's hard enough to control a group of 5 without the benifit of being there in person) so we will need to talk through that when we're sorting out what we want and when to run stuff. I've made a campaign page people can join which has a discord link to a group we can use for easier contact.
Edit: We are now at capasity so I'll remove the link
We currently have 4 people who have actively joined this group and made characters (a couple others that appeared in it but haven't really 'joined' if that makes sense) so there's currently only room for one more person. We're running our session zero today at 1pm UK time (UTC+1) with the hope of starting a session 1 either during it or on a friday evening-saturday in the near future so if you're interested you can join the discord i linked last week to see if my group is right for you.
