Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: I'm relatively new DM but have been playing D&D for several years now. Location/Timezone: CT Schedule: I'm shooting for Saturday nights. Roles sought: Looking for 4-5 players Game style: casual game play. dungeon crawls, role playing, and challenging puzzles and traps.
Looking for players to join in for one of the most notorious and challenging dungeons D&D has to offer. Be warned that some character's might and probably will die in this module. IT's not for the faint of heart. That being said, we will start at level 10 and I'm pretty open to character races and classes.
I plan on starting in a couple of weeks. I'm open to BH class and accepting new players, however it is going to be a merciless dungeon from what I can see so far. Expect there to be some traps that can outright kill a player on the spot. My plan is to kind of run this as a one shot dungeon, but if it takes more than one session to get through it, that's totally cool.
So, there are some things that I have yet to firmly decide upon. If we all chose to have a real Tomb of Horrors experience, a lot of the traps in there are insta-death. It's a very niche module similar to Curse of Strahd, where it challenges the players not the characters. I briefly have scanned through 5e Tomb of Horrors and while it is very dangerous, the module itself has been nerfed. Some things that I can answer right now is that we will use point buy or standard array unless you feel like rolling for your stats, in which you can roll in front of me. Feats are available for variant humans and every time you normally would be able to take an ability score improvement. Alignments are open yes. However, I don't tolerate PvP in my campaigns. I want everyone to have fun and that includes me. I don't find evil characters work well with others, so if you have a compelling backstory and motivation, maybe it's something I will consider. We will be starting with magic items and I'm not certain as to what level we are starting at. I said 10 but I've been doing some research and we may start higher. The setting I will be using is Faerun.
This sounds grueling and painful and I like it, I'm a bit rusty so if you can forgive that I'd be more than happy to take a crack at it, would you want me to message my discord contact info?
I'd also like to join as well. I happen to have alot of books, sadly not from D&D Beyond, and had experience in a few sessions. I also have a Character builder program called Aurora Builder that helps organize and plot out my character sheet. Let me know if you got spots open

I'm really open to the idea of this, it could be really fun, would this be taking place over discord or elsewhere?
Discord or Roll20 or both.

Awesome! Definitely something I can work with. Sure, that sounds good and then I can give you an invite to the campaign.
Good Afternoon Sir/Madam,
I would very much like to try playing in your session. Are all the spots taken now? Was thinking of playing a Ranger unless the role is taken :)

Anyone interested in joining can message me on discord @ Scott#2212
Hey. I'm in if you are still looking for players.
I looked and couldn’t find you on Discord, I’m sure it’s me. I’d be down for being turned into meat goo.
