I'm in search of joining an online game either Sunday or Monday evening. That said... I have never played before! I've always been into RPGs, however, playing MUDs back in the day... and have always enjoyed board games, so I'm excited for the opportunity to dive into a combination of the two. Now that I feel I have a good understanding of the basic underlying systems (thanks to Critical Role), I'm in search of a crew to play with!
I understand that Critical Role isn't necessarily the best source for setting one's expectations, but since I've never seen a D20 in real life as yet, it's certainly taught me a lot... stuff like movement, action, bonus action, what each kind of die is, the fact that you might roll lots of them for a particular action or kind of attack... attack rolls are different from damage rolls... what AC is... etc. So yeah!
Any chance someone out there would be willing to work with a newbie and give him some play time? :-)
In case you might be curious, I have two character's already created here on DND Beyond - a wizard and a ranger, each with a different backstory.

Hey Che, I have a Rogue ready to join with you on Sunday evenings at 8PM, if you want to team up to build a group and then finalize a DM?
