TL;DR - I'm running games in a Faction based homebrew world on the seas. One-shots/short games can vary from dungeon crawls, attack/defend siege scenarios, Faction oriented missions and/or role-playing centered games. All players are welcome (New, veterans, Old, Young, etc.) Myself and others in the community will do our best to help new players learn along the way. The point is to have fun and play dungeons and dragons! Join our Discord to get started: https://discord.gg/rGs3PD8
About me: I'm just Critter that wants to play more Dungeons and Dragons. It's been a big part of my life for a few years now and I just love talking about it with anyone willing. I'm by no means an expert! I'm always learning new things, which is great because it keeps the game fresh. Most of the games I've run or been a part of were in person so playing online is still new. Pen and Paper just feels right! I go by DrPepper or DJ doesn't really matter which. My goal is to build a community that plays consistently. My hours of acceptable game times are super flexible!
Homebrew World: I am currently working on a homebrew world with a close friend that all my games will be played in. The idea is to have all the One-shots and games to have an impact on whats going on in the world to make it truly feel like a home for people. Being an Alt Player is great too but I would like to reward players that stick around and develop their characters. The first area people will be playing in is an island area constantly under pressure from 3 separate factions for control on trading routes, islands, and potential treasure. I'm working on putting together some docs that go into more detail of each faction, their history, and other fun stuff. Be sure to keep up with everything in the Discord.
Types Of Games: I'm wanting to run One-shots and small campaigns that all take part in a single world. We should all know that timing/scheduling with friends can be a real hassle. Large campaigns are amazing on paper but can be super stressful due to real-life stepping in. By running shorter games this will hopefully let all players come in and out whenever their schedule allows and still feel a part of a developing story. Not all games need to be the same either, playstyles differ from adventurer to adventurer AND THAT'S OK! Hack n Slash, Adventuring, or even role-playing shopping episodes are ok in my book!
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online
Final Thoughts: Join the party at https://discord.gg/rGs3PD8 and don't forget to love each other! Also, I'm happy to run games for any time zones.
