So my longtime group of friends all grew up and let their marriages, work and other things get in the way of playing D&D... I know, totally inconsiderate, right?! ;-) So I'm now looking for a new group. I'm hoping to find a group to meet once a week or once every two weeks during weeknights. I'm on the West Coast, so a group that meets around 6 pm PST start time would be ideal. I've got Discord (xlXSpartacusXlx#8109) and Roll20 account, and obviously a D&D Beyond account.
I've typically played a Cleric, and really enjoy building a character with a rich backstory and interesting connections to the other characters. My previous character was a Tempest Cleric, had amnesia and thought that he was Thor when he went into a blood-lust in battle. Learned all about Norse mythology and made connections to the world described in the Sword Coast (for this campaign, we started in the Hoard of the Dragon Queen then moved to Homebrew).
I have in mind what I believe is a really cool character concept (spoiler: Kalashtar Twilight cleric-UA content) and want to try it out, as well as see if I can find a group that is more committed to playing make-believe with their friends.
I generally prefer DM's and groups that are interested in telling a cool story and letting everyone contribute to the narrative (DM alignment neutral good). In the past, I've butted heads with individuals whose characters ran REALLY chaotic but generally speaking, I think I could play with pretty much anyone.
I hope to join you in your campaign soon!
