Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: Mix of new, intermediate, and veteran Location/Timezone: Online using Discord/Roll20/whatever works for you, we've tried a bunch and we're pretty flexible. Schedule: Sunday 4PM EST/1PM PST, We have some flexibility, but given that we have members on the East Coast and West Coast of the US, we can only move so much Roles sought: DM Game style: We are casual players who want a fun experienced DM. We have characters we've worked on for a campaign that didn't work out and most of us are hoping to roll those characters, in some fashion into a new game. I know we have an Aarakocra Barbarian, an Aasimar Paladin, a Tiefling Artificer, and a Human Sorcerer The others are working on ideas and none of this is set in stone. Several of us, myself included, are very flexible. Anyhow, we have a relatively experienced group. We work well together and 3 of us have had a group before. We added the 2 new members for this new campaign that fell through, but we've had a few sessions and talk somewhat regularly. We've added another new member going forward who the librarians have known for a while and she'll fit in amazingly with the style. What we need is a DM that is passionate and can show up regularly to meetings or at least contact one of us if they cannot make it. We also need a DM that is patient with new players as we have one that is still learning and technology issues as that can happen no matter what. Our DM must also be OK with LGBTQ+ people and characters. Other than that, we're a fun bunch with a variety of personalities. We have some members that may not talk as much and others that are very comfortable talking up a storm. We're excited to see what is out there and hope we can find a DM that is a great it. We're also aware that this is kind of a big group, but we know if we can find a DM that is ok with a large group it'll be an amazing game for everyone. Also please note we do have someone who wants to play Artificer, so if you're not OK with artificer, you're probably not a good fit as our DM.
let us know what ideas you have for a campaign and we'll DM you to ask more questions and get more feedback if we like what we hear.
just going to be straight forward about this and say.. we need a DM more than we need more players at the moment. Sorry, but without a DM.. it is silly to keep collecting players
Sorry it took me a bit to reply. I was waiting to hear back from everyone. As far as I know, we don't have any specific campaigns we want to do, so we'd be open to any you'd be interested in DMing.
Cool. Sorry Just got this from another member.. direct quoting here "If they mean wotc published campaigns, I've always been interested in Out of the Abyss, Princes of the Apocalypse, and the new Baldur's Gate Descent Into Avernus. If they need the sourcebooks I could probably get my brother to share them on dndbeyond."
