This will be set on Discord and I'll be working on getting everything ready with players. I am new to being a DM, so I'll be working on building a new world and creating everything with any players. I will have a few rules however:

1. Be open minded (no hating other players for race, gender, sexuality, etc)

2. Be helpful to each other

3. Don't reveal what items are if you recognize the description

4. Try to roleplay instead of being a murder hobo

I'll be asking for help and may try one shots before the actual campaign begins to help build a world with the players. I'll also be doing this surrounding my work times, so please expect Tuesdays through Thursdays after February. Otherwise Saturdays and Sundays may be possible.

Be warned:

Upon the campaign start, old concepts or ideas may be added from past editions and reworked to be implemented into 5e. These will be showcased in unique ways if done. Players will get to see the idea and vote on the concepts beforehand as well. As such, players can also send me ideas they like for me to hear. If I think it'll work well, it could end up implemented as well. (There will be limits on homebrew if it isn't from past D&D, Pathfinder, or Magic games/cards/editions.)

Sounds interesting.  I'm new to 5e and haven't played anything in years.  The last time I did it was a mixture of 1e and 2e.

Quick questions, any limitations on characters or such, or will that be covered once a discord channel is set up?  Do you also plan to use something for visuals, like roll20? 

A bit more about myself here.  CST as well and weekends work best for me, but depending on the exact time, I might be able to do it during the week as well. I have some ideas for characters with plot hooks that can be used in a campaign.  Even if I don't join your campaign, and you are curious, feel free to ask.

Character limitations... Honestly I don't believe I'll have many outside of official and playtest material. It'd be more on homebrew that I set limitations really, but after reviews. Over time, more homebrew could become acceptable since past ideas can result in power gaps.

For visuals, I'll be setting up Roll20 as much as possible. Regrettably my computer is currently down however so it'd take until about the 24th for it to start being implemented by myself. Until then I could use images at most but it should be up before the actual campaign starts.

Heyyo! This sounds really interesting and I've been dying to play another PbP game for a little while now. I have about 2 years of experience as a player, so I've got the basics down, and I'm currently trying my hand at DMing as well, but that game is my first attempt at doing so.

Currently, I'm available basically all day, every day, so whatever works for the group will probably work for me as well.
