Game: D&D 5e Group type: Face-to-face Experience: New / a few years Location/Timezone: Kyoto, Japan Schedule: Sessions will take place on Saturday or Sunday nights, depending upon availability. Roles sought: DM Game style: We'll have a mix of people with a few years of experience with tabletop games and people with no experience playing D&D or any of its variants, so someone who can accommodate new players is important. As far as the mood of the campaign, we will mostly leave that up to the DM's discretion, but be warned that we will almost certainly get sidetracked and have some fun with the narrative. Fluency in English is required, and snacks will be provided.
Happy New Year. I'm looking for a D&D group around Kyoto. I used to play Victoriana couple of years ago but my GM moved back to his country and haven't had the chance of playing after that. I did play D&D for a couple of short sessions during 4e. I'm aware of the basic rules, classes, skills and etc. And recently, I learned to create my characters in D&D Beyond and Roll20 (I'm okay with either of these). I'm not sure if the GM will assign us with a character but I have one created now, a Tiefling Rogue who's trying to redeem himself by playing a hero. I'm looking for both story and role-playing. Making voices is my hobby and I'd love to have fun playing different characters.
