Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online using Discord, Roll20 and DnDBeyond. Experience: You don't need to be experienced, just focus on having fun and improving with us. Location/Timezone: GMT+1, all but one of our players live in Sweden. Schedule: Every Saturday evening, not entirely certain how much flexibility we have but maybe we can have a discussion about it. Roles sought: Long term DM, emphasis on the narrative part, but if you're new and don't have the experience it is still perfectly fine, let's just have fun together. The most important thing is to like the characters, like the story aspect, respect each other. Deaths happen in combat but we don't want a DM that is trying to murder everyone - No TPK's (total party kill) About our group: LGBT+ friendly, we are 5-6 players right now, of which one of us has tried out being the DM so far but more wants to roleplay. Game style: We have started on Storm King's Thunder and we have recently reached level 5. There can be a discussion about starting a new campaign as long as you are committed to it, but the goal is that we can continue playing on the current campaign. Most of us are really new to roleplaying so we're not sure what exactly we are looking for, but the consensus is a good mix of everything, we love fighting, we love sitting around a campfire, we love mystery, etc. We're casual in the sense that we think rules are more like guidelines, but for balances sake it's good to stick to the rules if you don't have a good reason to break them. Mistakes happen though and sometimes rules do get broken for narrative reasons etc which is perfectly fine. Don't be afraid to talk to us players about the campaign, rules, ideas, we really want the DM to feel part of the group. Language: The game is in english so it's important you are fluid enough in english to play with us.
I'd potentially be up for something. I've only ever DM'ed one session, so I'm fairly new to it as well, but I think I could give it a good shot. I'm GMT, so the time zones aren't very different. What time do you guys normally play?
