Game: D&D 5e rules, homebrew adventure (no modules wanted)
Familiar Apps: Discord, DnDBeyond, Avrae bot (Discord), Roll20
Availability: Tuesdays and Wednesday evenings after 7 PM EST
Desired Roleplay Level: 60-80% roleplay, 20-40% combat
Desired Group Experience: Somewhat experienced... I just don't want to be caught waiting for someone brand new to D&D 5e to learn how to play the game. I also prefer to play with mature adults (18+).
Favored Classes: Spellcasters: Bard, Wizard, Cleric and Druid in-particular. I'd also be interested in trying Artificer, Mystic (UA) or Fighter (Rune Knight).
Favored Races: Elves of all varieties, half-elf, human, changeling, kalashtar, and tiefling... I'm also interested in playing odd or unusual homebrew races (awakened creature, subject of true polymorph, etc) but only if the group is also interested in having me play one
Favored Settings:
1st - Sword & Sorcery worlds... but I avoid canon settings from movies and shows as I like to discover the world (IE: don't want to play in Middle Earth, Westeros, etc). Faerun is fine, but homebrew worlds are adored as long as they stick to classic fantasy. The closer the lore is to MrRhexx's deep dive D&D lore videos, that more interested I'll be.

2nd - Eberron. True to form Eberron. I'm relatively unfamiliar with the setting but I find it absolutely magnificent.

3rd - Sword & Sorcery with Sci-Fi hooks or twists... like if the players are trapped in a game world, or thrown back in time or to another dimension from the real world. As long as the place they land in is a true Sword & Sorcery setting (as described above), I'd be interested in that.

Deal-Breakers:
-I want to play over voice chat, specifically via Discord, and won't play in text-based adventures.
-I want to make my own character in the context and bounds of the setting, and do not want to be given a character to play. Class and race limitations are fine!
-I don't want to join an old campaign. I want to join a campaign at level 8 or lower.
-Skype, Teamspeak, Mumble, Ventrillo or any other out-dated voice call apps.

Extra Features:
-I have a camera, and I'm willing to use it! (I would prefer cams, but they are not necessary)
-I play on a nice custom PC with three monitors, I have all the tools and resources I might need.
-I will sit and be prepared to play D&D every session, and give prior notification if I know I'll miss a session.
-I'm LGBT friendly, and don't care if anyone (cis or otherwise) plays cross-gender characters.
-I'm not the best voice actor, but I like to get involved with my character's backstory and RP moments.

About Me:
I've been playing D&D for 8 years, and got my start in 3.5 when I was still in college. I have been a DM many times and am currently running a game on Tuesdays that go from roughly 2PM to 6PM EST, and I have another game I'm playing that runs about the same time on Wednesdays but isn't meeting right now. I like to put a lot of effort into the craft of making a new character, fitting them into the world. I wouldn't say I'm a serious or comical player... sometimes the situation is serious, sometimes it's comical.

I know I'm probably being picky about the campaigns I join, but I really just want something original on the story side, and well-established on the mechanics side.

PS: I am not interested in joining a large community or server, I am interested in joining a specific game. If joining a specific game involves joining a server, that's fine, but I don't want to be approached to be added to your larger roleplaying community without any intention of adding me to your game.
