The day will be considered by the players so will the time and it will be played on roll 20.
100 years had past and the war still continues the avatar has been killed 3 times and is manipulated to be the fire nation's secret weapon. And we need benders and non-benders to help the rebellion, a group lead by the White Lotus, to end the war once and for all.
All I need is to know from which nation you are if you are a bender or a non-bender and a little backstory of the character.
Born in the Northern water tribe. Looking to prove himself as a competent warrior even as a non bender vs benders. He does all. Born to two benders. Yet he himself cannot bend. Chooses to fight with weapons and strategy to prove himself a brave and competent warrior!
I would play a water bender from the southern water tribe, the character would be female therefore I’m assuming she would be forced to be a healer. Looking to hone her craft and help to free her people from the fire tribes rule she sets out to join the rebellion. She is not the best fighter but she is very charismatic, and deceptively charming. I imagine she would mostly take a support role in the party. I’m thinking neutral good as her alignment?
I would be a male water bender but primarily focuses on specific types of water bending, Healing is a specialty that he loves to pursue. Due to the fact that my character is the direct descendant of the monarch that currently rules the Northern Water Tribe, the idea of my character delving into the intricacies of healing water bending is extremely looked down upon. Constantly abused as a child by the monarchy that rules the Northern Water Tribe, my character has scars all over his body but covers it up with fancy clothes obtained by the high riches of being a prince. My character is cold and stern at first to attempt to hide the horrors of being an abused child. Due to being a prince, my character has easy knowledge of the white lotus and has been able to keep it secret all this time.
I have never watched avatar The Last Airbender but this is really interesting to me I would love some backstory on this also what time zone do you live in?
My name is Daou Barr and when I was young my Village was attacked my parents Hou Barr and Woke Barr were taken but I see the Fire Nation and I've been looking for them since. I've traveled across the lands many times over and I have not been able to find them as I travel old I gained allies have been in most towns and left my mark there. One of my favorite allies is my pet boar who would has been with me since I was is a 10 years old his name is Parum. I was the the ways of earthbending from my parents
If you're still looking for players I'm interested.
Fire-Nation female non-bender. Her family has served as clandestine White Lotus agents for generations and now it is her time to take on the mantle of an agent. Having been trained from a young age she is totally committed to the overthrow of the current regime and the restoration of balance. While her family specializes in various forms of clandestine action she has chosen the path of the assassin.
Sui was found on the streets of the Fire Nation Capital a babe by two humble and loving Earth nation cabbage farmers. They’d found him while making a delivery, since their farm benefited much of trade with the capital. He is not their child in blood but entirely theirs in how he acts. Gentle Sui spent most of his life disdaining his fire bending, seeing it as a reminder that he is not truly Earth Nation. He would be starting the story I think as either a competent beginner or at like a middle ground but with like not a lot of technique. Either lie chose to lean in heavily to learning fire bending technique or having him be like a really talented natural bender who can’t seem to get the techniques down (maybe due to his Earth Nation childhood). He probably gets involved with the White Lotus for his family, or because he hates the Fire Nation. I imagine him being a weak fighter but like, quite combustible. He’s quite and gentle until flames get going and he can’t help but enjoy everything burning. Like a closeted pyromaniac who hates that he loves it
My character would be an air bender. He spent some time training with the monks, but he couldn't help but feel like he was wasting his talents there. After traveling nation to nation as a petty pickpocket while keeping his bending abilities on the down low, he is scooped up and drafted into the war (I figure they could start as a sort of deserter depending on the tone of the campaign) . He's only heard tales of the Avatar, but if they are true then Fox better find some help.
That sounds like a really cool direction to take it, that’s something that might come up in the campaign. He’d be coming into fire bending with completely fresh eyes, so I feel like he won’t like naturally start there but that definitely sounds like a way for him get comfortable with his bending!

What if he learned to bend lava, incorporating his natural fire bending with his Eathbending upbringing?

Right! I never really thought about an Avatar style campaign. I wonder what other type of bending combos could make sense hhmmmmm
