New player looking for Group for Monday nights

Hello Everyone,

I am a really new player looking for a great experience. I am looking for a group of people that want to enjoy the experience of a game with not being super serious. Be part of a story with lots of adventures. 

I do have very limited experience with D&D. I have created a character for a campaign. I did a little bit of fighting. It was more RP than anything. My group fell a part due to lack of participation from everyone. This was done over computer. I do have Table Top Simulator ready to go. I would like to try in person. I would purchase anything needed to get myself ready, I am unsure what is all needed.

I am looking for a game in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada/MST. I would prefer to be in person. I do not mind playing over computer/discord. 

Game: D&D 5e or any addition
Group preferred: Face to Face or Online
Experience: New
Location/Timezone: Edmonton Alberta Canada/Mountain Standard
Availability: Monday nights preferably. Can do Sunday nights.
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I like be part of a good story. I would be willing to RP. I would prefer casual as I really do not have much experience.
