I'm a pretty experienced DM having run and played a few different games in the past 5 or so years. recently, i had some free time to revamp a custom campaign setting i created a few years back and am looking for players to have a go at it! Comment on this thread or direct message me here if you are interested. Below will be a brief overview of the setting:
The world of Altimaera is dying…
Hundreds of years ago, the world was a brighter and safer place. The sun shined down upon a peaceful populace, from the Mountains of Oram-Shea to the Industrious scattered islands of Kahran.
Mortals sailed upon an endless sea, guided by the light of the Sun in the day. The brilliant moon and stars at night. While history tells of countless wars and scuffles between the island nations, the world continued on in relative safety and peace.
Until a great tragedy struck!
For an entire year, the world was blanketed in blackened storm clouds. Tsunamis. Earthquakes. And a near constant thunder and lightning, the only time the sky illuminated.
People feared they would never see the sun again.
Their fears were realized when the storm clouds finally passed…

I would like to join, I am a forever dm that is desperate to play. I have been playing D&D 5e for 5 years now and know the rules, I am also comfortable with roleplaying and getting into character, I already have a few character ideas, but can play really anything and am good at improvisation.

Definitely interested. Free most nights starting at 9:00 p.m. EDT. I am an OG player from 1e days, but quit for decades and picked it back up a little over a year ago when I DMed for my kids. Just had a 6 month long and 7 month long campaign die and looking for a new weekly game one night a week.
Hello, my boyfriend and I are interested in joining. Free during the weekends, however weekdays would not work for us due to work. We are pretty new to DnD, though he has about a year more experience than I do. I typically play Wood Elf and he likes to play Rogue and Paladin.
