Looking for group/players in Providence Rhode Island starting in May

This is all contingent on COVID-19.

I have gotten a job in RI that will likely be starting in May and I am looking to get to know some people in the area and places that we'd/I would be able able to play once the restrictions are lifted. 

If I'm DMing I'll be starting a discord channel so we can coordinate games and be able to put in what has happened and such so we can keep everyone on the same page as much as possible.

Additionally I have some a list of Homebrew rule/optional rules that I would like to use as a DM and will be making the list avalible to my players so we can veto them if they do not like them (if anyone want to look at them and give me some critics I'm 100% down for that PM me). 

As for campaigns I can do a variety of things from established if people want to play something specifically, otherwise I have been building a level of a campaign that is in the Eberron setting. 

If we are going to do a homebrew setting I would like to do it in the less established setting such as Eberron.

I also like to balance my campaigns a bit more towards RP and will reward strong characterization as my primary rule.

I also very much like playing against type and players who play against type.

Now as a player, I have to admit I do have a tendency to steer towards power gaming. But this can pop up in a number of ways, like a swashbuckler rogue who is charsmatic AF and used his expertise for cha skills and arcrobatics. Playing what for all intents is a bard but never got a sense for the magic. 

Playing an Old AF elf Wizard (now I'll try to get expertise in Arcana and/or history for this guy) who is insensed that humans are always keeping up with elves despite their short lives and wants to figure out how they keep passing elves. 

Playing a Bloodhunter (assuming they age slower like a witcher) that was retired with a family and just has a set of triplets or such and has to return to hunting monsters in now middle age to get enough coin to support his family. 

I play around these goofy things.
