I've never played D&D before and am looking for a place to start

Hello all! 

Sadly, I have absolutely 0 experience with D&D, but I have always wanted to play. With the whole "end of the world" thing going on right now I think this would be a good time to start. However, I have no idea where to begin. I am worried about being a hindrance to other players, so I am a little anxious about making this post. Nevertheless, if anyone is interested in giving it a shot pls let me know :)  

P.S also for anyone whose not interested feel free to offer any advice you have! I would greatly appreciate any information 

Depending on when you are free, I can run a 1 on 1 game to introduce you to core concepts and let you get a grasp of basics without impeding a group if that's something you'd want.
