New to 5. Looking to join a casual/semi-serious group!

Hey there!

If the party has a master membership I have made a lot of purchases on feats, subclasses and a few races/subraces... 
I'm a bit shy at first, but open up quickly. I used to play 3.5 and I took a break due to school and rl etc. I have made 6 characters just sitting around doing nothing and then I discovered this section of the forum and finally got the courage to post.
I have no problem filling a role for the party as I'll come up with some fun backstory you can and other players can use to enhance your play; however, I used to play a ranger and on another campaign, a barbarian. So I wouldn't mine playing something with a bit more spellcasting, even if it's a rogue who takes spell thief at lvl 3 or paladin if that's okay. Just never experienced the magic side of things and I love the idea of control and using magic to help in social situations.
I am typically available for sure at nights without distraction or background noise etc. 
Every day except Thursday works as I have a family online board game night! 
I suppose I should say I live in Canada GMT -4 (Ontario) and I can play after 8:15 at night for sure. If given a time and day I can most likely talk it over with the SO to get the time free to play! :D

I suppose I could mention I am up for any form of coms. Camera included. I know seeing faces helps a lot in the immersion.

I think I chose the wrong section. I am a player, looking for a group. I would be interested in trying to DM in the future once I have 5e rules down.
