Hey all, I've just put together a short adventure in the Underdark and I'm looking to find a few people who'd be willing to go through it.
Game Info
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: PBP on DnDBeyond Experience: A fair bit of experience Location/Timezone: Asynchronous. Combat will be grouped by PC and enemy turns. Availability: Whenever you're able to post, preferably once a day at minimum Game style: The adventure has a combination of combat and investigation. You've got to have the willingness to write from the perspective of your character and rp their thoughts and interactions in a way that's a bit more than just mechanically stating your actions (less Roll Perception (13) in the room, more Yaz looks under the furniture in the room, hoping to find signs of any traps left lying in wait (Perception 13))
I've got several years experience DMing, and long adventures falling off is part of why I wanted to try writing and running a one-shot.
Story Info
The wheels of the covered wagon rattle in tandem with the chains that bind you to your seat. Around you, men, woman and children weep in the darkness. You may or may not remember when you were taken, but you know you're now a prisoner, unsure of where you're headed.
Your wagon halts. Voices from outside hiss sharp words as silence falls. A roar tears it apart as the world around you becomes a chorus of shouting and crunching. The wagon is knocked this way and that–you hear arrows or bolts as they lodge themselves into the wood.
Silence, again.
And then hoarse breathing. "I beseech you." The voice is unfamiliar and ragged. "Nay, I implore you."
The curtain around the wagon is torn away, and dim light rushes into your eyes. You see the bars of the cage you're in. Strewn around you and the other wagons in your caravan are the bodies of Drow and their giant spiders. And then you see the source of the voice. A gnome, bloodied and bruised stands, leaning to one side. He holds up a simple lantern whose flame has an eerie violet glow.
"I have come as far as I can. Will you take this burden from me. Will you help me?"
Additional Info
Because this is the Underdark, indigenous races are available, including Drow, Svirneblin, Myconids, etc. You also could be some poor soul who was taken during a Drow raid on the surface and has no knowledge of Undercommon. Apart from the races, I'm hoping to restrict homebrew content, but anything from other sourcebooks is fine.
I've only done in-person gaming before but PBP sounds really cool! I love writing from the perspective of my characters! I'm a little rusty though - it's been a couple of years since I've played - I have a couple years' experience of solid playing.
I've never done a PBP before but I would love to give it a try. I have many years of written roleplay experience and a about a year of experience with 5e.

I’ll let you know if I find enough folks!
I'm interested, PbP is more convenient for me right now and the premise of this story sounds intriguing.
