New player to DnD never played before!

I am 30 years old prefer 18+ and brand new to dnd I have made a level 1 rogue and looking for laid back people who have patience and don't mind teaching me how to play. I also like to be very humorous so not looking for hardcore rping. Let me know if anyone has a new campaign.

The thing is on-line Rope-play comes in different varieties, Text [ PBP; Play By Post (you post a text message, then wait for the next day of play.), Chat (you are all on together and take turns), also Chat comes in Audio, and Video.  RPOL.net is good for PBP.  Text chat can be a group getting to whether to play at scheduled times.. but it can also be a version of large multi-player campaign sandbox.
"Gaia" below is a discord [ text-chat ] server open 24/7 with volunteer @NPC (merchants) and @'*' [single encounter city's] DMs
It is very open to "Bluebies" [inside joke name color is blue for starters], and people are very willing to help.
You would have to use the Avrae roll stat command [in the #roll threads]and (thumb upped) by @admin as the stats are usually expected total 80+

I have a group of players who are all new. We're running the starter module. I've been playing myself for about a year and trying my hand at being dm. Looking for 1 or 2 players if you're interested. :)
