Hey everyone, I'm a new DM looking for new players to join a Discord D&D campaign with me. I've joined a lot of short running D&D campaigns before with friends, but am looking for something that might last past level 3 this time around. I want to try running a campaign that revolves mainly around text, since I can usually formulate ideas better in writing. If that sounds interesting to you, hit me up. There will likely be few (if any) call-in game sessions.
Game: 5e Type: Online, through Discord Experience: Little to none Looking for: Players who enjoy roleplaying, no more than 6, and another DM would be welcome. Time frame: Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, 3:00pm-whenever PST. Time of day is variable, but be warned, I am not a night owl. Setting: I will be creating my own campaign, but will stay within the D&D 5e framework of gods, monsters and such. Homebrew characters? I apologize in advance, but from my experience, homebrew characters usually just complicate things. I'll probably be more open to the concept once I have more experience as a DM.
I'm a high schooler, so I'm looking for other high school aged people, but I won't place any restrictions.
EDIT: Thanks to you all for responding. I've accepted Dman's offer though, so I'm going to hold on for now with picking any other players up. If after a few sessions I feel like I could run a second campaign at the same time, I'll dm all of you on discord. Until then... feel free to look for other games to join.
