Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online via Discord Experience: Any Location/Timezone: AZ time (currently PST) Schedule: We've been playing on Wednesdays around 7pm pst. This could possibly be changed based on everyone's needs Roles sought: Need a Player or two to refill the party Game style: Flexible. A fair bit of combat and social interaction. I try my best to adjust to what my players enjoy and am happy to accommodate new characters so long as they aren't intentionally detrimental.
The following is a synopsis and explanation of where the party currently is.
Justice is an interesting word. It has few definitions, yet many meanings. To one side, it legitimizes a single evil act done for the protection of the world. For the other, it drives an invasion. The purpose of the latter being to remedy the former "Justice"; creating a conundrum. Who is right? Who is just in their action? Do ends justify means? These queries may be asked. They cannot, however, be so easily answered.
The Alithian (Greek) gods, having stolen a sacred object from the gods of Fiore (Norse), have triggered the invasion of their own land. The Fiorese now march through Alithis, in search of their treasured artifact, conquering cities and taking lives when necessary. They see their quest as noble. To right a wrong, the Fiorese fight those who committed the atrocity, and anyone who protects them. The Alithians protect their cache, even with their lives, for the safety of the world; so they claim. They willingly allow their followers and fellow divines die to keep the artifact hidden. They say, spare the few, to protect the many.
The party is currently being forced to fight for a gladiator house, far from their home base. They act as a private, third party in the war and have begun to gather a following in northern Alithis.
Hey! This sounds amazing! Two mythologies I utterly enjoy.
I would love to join the team, I have several characters ready for changing backstories and lore to match your world. Are there any classes requested? And what level would we be entering your delightful campaign?
I'm a flexible player, I love roleplay, I love tactics and I LOVE challenges.
I know Roll20 very well, I have Discord (Dylz#4486), I can do Wednesday 7pm pst.
I am so down to joining this group if you still have room. I've been Dming for about three years now, but have never played in a longterm campaign before. I don't mind filling any combat roles if needed. My discord is Zorro I (3638) if you wish to contact me through there
Your story sounds fantastic! I am currently in a Greek style campaign called Odyssey of the Dragonlords. I really like real-world ancient civilizations embedded into RPG stories. I have been playing since Advanced D&D in the mid 80s. I missed most of the 90s and 00s, but got back into 5e a few years ago and play like 4x a week. I have been looking for another game on my off day and Wed is one. All my games are in Fantasy Grounds. I have minor experience with Roll 20. If you still need another player for your group contact me via Discord @ Necrocorpse #4502.
