Hi All. I am currently prepping a weekly Dragons of Icespire Peak campaign, mainly for beginner players which will be run weekly on Wednesday nights kicking off around 6pm. Hoping to have session 0 ready to go either Wed 27/5 or 3/6 depending on applications, to go over character creation and basics of Roll20 for any that are unfamiliar. Experience with DnD: I have experience with D&D 5e, so I'm not new, but I'm no rule lawyer.  I've never ran, or read Dragons of Icespire Peak so I would love to give the campaign a go.  

As far as potential character ideas - That all depends on the group makeup.  I like to fit in with the group where needed.  I can play just about any class that the group wants or needs to make a balanced party.  

A small perk - I have every campaign unlocked in Roll20, so if you wanted to run something after Icespire the group would have full access to all my campaigns.  If you would like to talk add me on discord Vizual#8094

Experience with DnD: I've only played Pathfinder, but I've heard DND 5e is similar and actually simpler? I'ved used roll20 a few times; I could get familiar.

Potential character idea: Shael: Samsaran (Everborn in DND i think, up to you if I can do that lol)/Druid. Her BS is specific to a different campaign so I'll be changing it. In essence, She's hanging loose, traveling from town to town and likes to bake a whole ton, so she usually snatches a job as a baker. She's keeps distance despite her motherlike/hippy demeanor.

I do have this other character that's completely different as backup, would just need to transfer sheets from pathfinder to dnd. if the plan is discord, mine is sun_bubba#5467:)

Experience with DnD: played as a teen (adnd).  Resumed a couple of years ago.

Potential character idea:  Warforged that contains the soul and scraps of flesh from a soldier that was dying as a way to keep them "alive" and make the ultimate fighting machine.  But the wars ended & Warforged was never activated, until now.  He/she have no idea who they are etc.  

I do have a problem with 6pm start times.  I have young kids.  I currently play a game on Monday, starting at 9pm.  This works for me as the kids are asleep by then.  If this doesn't work for you then, that's ok.

Potential Character: A human (maybe half-elf) monk. He was heir to his father's business when he was thrust into leadership too soon when his father fell ill. Nobles and business rivals exploited his inexperience, plunging their business into rapid collapse, with him breaking into severe guilt to the point where he faked his own death and running off to join a monk order. Few months later, he leaves once he discovers that his order has been trading with his now recovered family by finding a seal with a small message of forgiveness and remembrance for his "death". Now he's seeking to "redeem" himself so he can see them again.

Experience with DnD: I have only played as DM, but never had the oportunity to go as player, I have like 6 months playing the game, also I have read all the player's handbook

Potential character idea: I have a character in mind called Kaldor, he is a human Monk that always seeks for knowledge, his curiosity has lead him to trouble all the time, i am planning to multiclass to build the character i have in mind, thank you! :D
