Have no idea what I'm doing... but would love to learn how to do this!

Hi,  I've never played D&D before and honestly know nothing about it other than basics.  I know a few people who have played but I don't have any really solid connections in the game other than that.  But I've got nothing but time, so why not?!?  I'm on the US east coast but am pretty flexible time-wise.  

If anyone is looking for an extra player or trying to put a group together just let me know! So far all of my characters are manipulative females (sorry I've got a type) if you were wondering

Also, if you want to know just how confused I am by all of this, I thought 'LFG' meant 'Lets f-ing go', so yeah...that's me
