We are Tot and Robo, husband and wife in our early 30's and absolutely love D&D! We are fans of Critical Role, world-building, character creation and progression, and story-telling.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online. A game played with mics and webcams, preferably on Discord. We enjoy using a VTT, like Roll20, but we can do theatre of mind as well. Experience: We're experienced DnD players (5+ years for both of us) who currently co-DM a game in our homebrew setting on Wednesdays. Looking to spend some time on the other side of the screen. Location/Timezone: MST, Canada. Availability: Saturday or Sunday, preferably in the evenings. We can play late on Saturdays up to 1am MST, and up to 10pm MST on Sundays. Sessions that last 3-4 hours, able to do weekly. Would plan other social things around game time, no flaking here! Weekend trips are occasional and we would do everything in our power to not mess with the game time if we didn't have to. As DMs we understand how important it is to dedicate time to the game, and like to play with people who feel this way as well. Preferred role: Player Game style: We enjoy roleplay and story oriented games, a 65-35 split between roleplay and combat is great. Definitely looking for a DM and other players who will bring as much investment to the game as we will. Do not enjoy games where "anything goes" or played to be as ridiculous as possible.
What we'll bring to the game:
Two solid non-flaky players.
Over two decades between us of roleplaying experience and 10 years between us of DnD 5e experience.
Players that don't min-max, meta, or power game.
Team players who aren't murderhobos.
Players with good camera, mic, and internet - also punctual!
DnD Beyond subscription that we could potentially extend to all the players in the campaign, if necessary.
If you think we would be a good fit for your game, or a game you're trying to put together, please do not hesitate to message us or reply to this thread. :)
I hope you guys don't mind if I tag along on your thread. I've been looking for a game online forever and just realized I could do so here. I used to play a lot growing up on 3.5. I took it from there and played while I was in the army on deployments. I have a lot of experience with D&D although not the new stuff although I've heard it's much simpler than what I'm used to playing. You guys sound a lot like what I would be looking for in a group as well! I'm 31 and from Kentucky so I think we're only 2 hours apart time-wise I believe. Good luck with finding a game!
