Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: Been playing for several years, first time dming a real campaign Location/Timezone: EST but PBP goes 24/7 Schedule: Play by post. Roles sought: Looking from 4-6 players. Game style: Roleplay heavy homebrew campaign! A heavy focus on magick and the creation of the world, you will be helping build this world with every post!
This is a quick overview of the world, plus some things that I've homebrewed if you're interested!
The strong breeze of cool air hits you, blowing through your hair as you look off over the lush valley that protects your village. Salty water splashes into your mouth, feet walking over black lava rocks, with years of practice it feels like simple hot sand under calluses. Flames burst, nearly taking your eyebrows with them, you can hear your crewmate laughing at your inexperience lighting the engine of your airship. The crackle of magick jumps between your fingers like electricity, focusing your might until your hand points, a subconscious gesture that guides that energy deep into the earth.
Welcome to the world of Karruh where everyone has magick, enough that you can feel the world pulse around you with intention. A new world, growing strong and quickly, you can become a part of it’s creation. Gods and spirits walk among mortals, fae and nymphs can take your heart in an instant if you allow it, demigods and those who are born of different planes aren’t uncommon by any means.
Your destiny awaits, may it be in an airship amongst the pirates, in the middle of a gala of the utmost political importance, adventuring through the forests of nymphs and fae, or going through the pockets of the looters who attempted a ransack on your merchant goods. Do you choose to take a hand in the living magick of a world of true faerytales?
Within this world, I, myself, have homebrewed transportation, continents and kingdoms (maps galore), nobility and their ownership of land, currencies and more. I have not homebrewed classes or any races and if you did want to play either it would be on a case by case basis.
A quick synopsis of your base mission is as follows:
Sampson Tototi is a 15 year old noble boy with an affinity for adventure. Though of course, all he knows of adventure is what he’s read about in faerytales and from the other noble children. Now that he’s old enough to hire his own workers, his first mission is to gather a group of adventurers to fulfill his needs. Whether it be gathering materials for him, guarding him on the way to important ventures, or taking care of those pesky pillagers, you’re his entertainment for hire.
If you've stuck around this far, I would really love to hear from you!! Send me a message or leave a comment and we'll get you into the interview process to make sure we're looking for the same thing <3
FOR CLARIFICATION: This is a Play By Post game which means it's text based and there's no scheduling needed for voice calls! We're hoping to be more than just a group and become friends, so I'd be really happy if you joined
