One player I had brought in decided to drop before the next session and I would like to replace them. The party is down to 2 current players with 2 more going to join. This will be the Forgotten Realms setting Storm Kings Thunder and will be run through Roll20. The party has reached a part in the story where the party is playing an open world setting. I will issue a fair warning that sessions may crawl during open world so if you want a flowing story and lots of action you best look for another group. The party has 1 Wolfkin Fighter, and 1 Changeling Rogue/Fighter with another player joining as a cleric and another one joining as a druid. Sessions will be at 10PM PST/1 AM EST every Sunday evening/Monday mornings unless I or other players are unable to join for that session. I do have some restrictions on how players create characters. I will not allow UA, winged races or evil PCs. I will allow homebrew upon review before I will say yes or no. If you are planning a murderhobo type character you are better off looking for another group. I will not be accepting drama queens, loners, lone wolves broody type edgelords, or asshats. I would prefer players that know Roll20 and be 18+. Stats will be done through rolling 4d6s and dropping the lowest or point buy. Should you be interested feel free to fill out an application by following the template below and putting my name at the end to confirm you understand all info posted. I hope to see you soon. Cheers!
Experience: New Player, seen some play and jumped in for a bit a couple of times.
You seem like a really good group that doesn't want troublesome players
Character Idea: Honestly, I love making characters. You can tell me a class you want, and I can make someone. I'm so new I don't have a set play style yet.
No other info to disclose
I just started Roll20, but have been looking through things
I am extremely flexible right now and can be fully committed each time.
Experience: I have none aside from watching some people play online, am looking to try it out.
Reason for playing: I haven't played before but always have; however, due to my small town there are no people to actually have DnD sessions with and I just recently discovered online DnD so I figured why not. Your party and sessions based on your description seems like a good group to start with and see how things work. However, if none of you want an inexperienced player to join in I completely understand.
Character Idea: I currently have a Half-Elf Monk character that follows a faith of Judicial Principles, so I'd like to try things out with him. If not I love making characters as needed. I generally play as a generous or supportive character.
I just started Roll20 and am currently testing and looking through it.
As for flexibility, if it's more of a text adventure I'm open pretty often. I do work night shifts as a correctional officer and it depends on my station posting when I'll be able to access a computer. However, if we can figure dates ahead of time by about a week or two I will be able to cooperate very well. I can't say I will be the most reliable as I am more committed to my job than anything else, however, at my job I do have a computer. So I will try my best to be at the sessions!
Experience: I played back in the old AD&D days and have played 5e for just over 3 1/2 years. I have some great characters. I also am homebrewing a campaign based on the world of Exandria on the continent of Tal'Dorei thanks to Matt Mercer's Tal'Dorei Campaign Settings book.
Why would you like to join my campaign? I love D&D... Any game is good and you sound like a no bullshyter that would be fun to play with!
Character Idea: I love Tieflings. I love Barbarians... I don't think any more need to be said. LOL
Any other info you would like to disclose? I have a Tiefling Barbarian/Druid, levels 8/4, I'd like to build another one or bring him back into play. Barbarians are a hoot to play and Tieflings tend to naturally be fun. I get into my characters and fall in love with them quickly. Most of them, btw, are male and like boys.
How familiar are you with Roll20? Very... I am running 2 groups in the same campaign and involved in Waterdeep: Dragon Heist. I was involved in a couple others that fizzled out, sadly.
How reliable and committed would you be? I'll be there with bells on every session! My character will be up and running.
