My brother and I are brand new to D&D beyond he has never played but always wanted to and I have not played in years and the last edition I touched was 3. My bro is rather shy but brilliant and I am more engaging and tend to be more on the creative end of the spectrum. Our made character sheets are a bard specializing in inspiring his comrades, stealth and a bit of spell craft as well as a just paladin wishing to defend his comrades and vanquish those that go bump in the night or challenge the righteous. The bard is a chaotic good tifling while the paladin is a lawful good dragonborn and while I can not speak for my bros proficiencies and equipment My bard is set up to be mostly supportive providing light and quelling beasts or banishing fear.

Short edit I now have a second character that can be used if the bard does not fit an Avian ranger and woodland hunter who is proficient in herbs and survival.

Hey I would love to join in on this I have two characters as well but I have only played once with a friend and I doubt we even played right so if possible I need to learn as we go 😁 I am also willing to play as dm im working on a campaign myself msg if you wanna try and group up
