I started playing a few months ago while deployed overseas. I am returning home in a couple of weeks and would like to find a group to jump in and start playing with.
I have only played a few sessions but have a fairly good grasp of the rules. I am hoping to find a local group in the Ottawa area that is able to play in person when COVID becomes manageable and life normalizes, however I would be more than happy with a group in relatively the same timezone that is able to play regularly online.
I currently don't have access to discord. I keep getting an error that I have to verify my account by phone and I don't have access to a phone until I return home.
I had a quick read through of the document provided and am interested. Any character creation rules I should be aware of or preferred classes required to round out the party?

Installing discord should not ask your phone number. Mine did not.

Buddy that might not be a real discord app then. Usually the account verification is just E-Mail based, as far as I remember.
