Game: D&D 5e, Waterdeep Dragon Heist Group type: Online, We use Roll 20 and DND Beyond, with the Beyond 20 plugin (Not required, but if you haven't tried it you should), and Discord for Voice Chat, with spotify playing for Ambiance Experience: New / a few years / veteran, my only real requirement is that you are somewhat familiar with DND Beyond/ Roll 20 Location/Timezone: Upstate New York/ EDT Schedule: 90% Saturday Night @ 7pm and we play for 3-4 hours depending on how the night is going, however my schedule tends to shift, so there are some weeks when we play Friday Night or Sunday Morning Roles sought: Player (2) Game style: I've been GM'ing a group of local friends for about 5-6 years, with some friends moving out of town and some new players filtering in and out, but we've recently moved to Roll 20 due to Corona, and we've had a falling out with one of our consistent members so i figured I'd give this a try. Usually I try and encourage RP among my players, and try my best to integrate characters in the world/ create custom side-quests that involve characters- backstory elements. Combat tends to usually be deadly encounters due to the high experience level of players I have, however I try my best to be fair and balance encounters as I see fit. I'm open to any UA or home-brew as long as it's reasonable and I can read through/ approve it, and as long as it's possible to put into DND beyond. I normally do not DM book adventures, I tend to like to write campaigns, so if you've played Waterdeep before, you may be surprised to see some changes in parts of the story. That being said, I've been taking this opportunity to try some different styles of game-play with my group so it might not be the traditional "Here's the bad guy, go fight him" story-line.
Group Currently Consists of level 4 characters including an Aasimar Sorcerer, a dragonborn bard,, and a Human Warlock and Changeling Rouge/warlock, but the last two have conflicting work schedules so they tend to miss some sessions. Players are experienced , mature, helpful and just generally trying to have fun.Ages of players range from 20-40 and I am 25 (GM), and we're all males, but we're pretty accepting of everything. All are welcome to enquirer, I only ask that you are consistent and involved.
If you are interested PM me and I can give you more Info. If we decide to play together I will need some one on one time to get you and your character set up.
