Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online or Face-to-face. If the group is near West Nashville or outside it by a bit I can easily come during the week. Experience: New-ish. I know basics. The only thing I need a bit more help with is spells and spell casting. Location/Timezone: Just outside of West Nashville so CST Availability: I'll be available any time after 6 pm cst during the week and Sunday afternoons Preferred role: DM or Player (Not much experience to speak of in either) Game style: Casual or Roleplay are fine. I enjoy a good story and I love making one too so a style that allows for a bit of fun while getting to know others sounds great to me.
I recently got into D&D and I know to most that sounds like "Oh great, I need to teach him," but I know basics. I actually needed a new pass time and I found D&D to be a well of new experiences and fun.
I am a writer in my own personal time so I can easily describe plenty of stuff and if I need to make a new character I can make the backstory actually sound thought out and enjoyable.
I don't plan on this actually catching anyone's eye but if it does then I'd love to join a group and actually learn more and learn as much as I can.
Schedule wise I can play during the week online. If it'll be on the weekend I am currently starting a group with some friends that will meet every other weekend. Otherwise I can join in during the week or every other weekend online.
If the group is near West Nashville I can join in person too if necessary during the week.
If you made it this far thank you for reading and I hope to meet some more players.
Hey! I know this is an older post but it's worth a shot.
1. I hope you've found a group by now...
2. If you have ::fingers crossed:: they are interested in adding another player too :-)
I've been playing online with Discord & Roll20 through covid. But SOOOO ready to play with people at a real table with real dice!!! I live north of Nashville so west end is an easy drive for me. Can't wait for Game Point to open back up!
My experience is small campaigns and one-shots. So, I too, know the basics but just haven't had the chance to get those epic high level characters yet!
I have not found an irl group, but I have been finding a few online games and I'm sure I can see if any are willing to add a person. If not I have a group I DM for if necessary.
