1 experienced player (myself), and 2 new players (my friends), are looking for a campaign.
D&D preferences: - Date: August 13 and Thursdays thereafter weekly seems like the only day we all can play. - Time: Start between 8-11pm Eastern Daylight Time and have games run from 3-4 hours long - Starting Level: between 5-10 - Age: We're all 18+ but some of us prefer to not be in an explicit NSFW campaign. - All our characters are spec'd up to Level 10 at least. - None of us own any content on D&DBeyond and would need content share. - All of us are good for Voice chat on Discord and playing on Roll20.
For Myself: Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: A few months Location/Timezone: Pacific Standard Time Availability: See Above Preferred role: Player Game style preference: Puzzles and Tactical Combat Character: Kobold Beastmaster Ranger/Hexblade Warlock/(Eldritch Knight) Fighter Silverfang (aka SF) was part of a Kobold colony that was vastly overpopulated. Rather than culling the kobolds, however, the dragon whom the colony worshipped created a Grand Arena held every year to cut the population down and keep the masses pleased. Each year, hundreds of Kobolds volunteer, or are selected to participate in a "glorious" free-for-all where the winner gets the most valuable prize ever: the esteem of his colony and being sent out to the world as a capable kobold (aka banishment). Silverfang didn't want to be part of this Grand Arena after someone special to him was sent away to never been seen again. He was selected anyways, due to the numbers of participants being lower. Through cunning, skill, and mostly luck, he was victorious. Now he searches the outside world for the only one who mattered to him, hoping to one day reunite. The memories of seeing his friends and family brutally cut each other down and him having to do the same without hesitation still haunts him.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BE ONE OF THE OTHER PLAYERS, PLEASE FILL OUT THIS CHARACTER APPLICATION FORM. It's preferred for players to have a backstory for their character as well. Please have your character made up to at least level 10 since we plan to start at any level between 5-10 depending on the campaign.

I can dm your group, because same time slot. You could join and see how it goes. Maybe you'll like my style. I dm since 1984, lax on rules, high on adventure. If you want L6, then i host Mon-Tue-Wed-Fri 10am EDT (Thu is for newbie). Roger

Sorry, I forgot to put down the start time as 8-11pm, not AM. My bad. Thanks for the offer though.
I wouldn't mind playing with you. I enjoy creating characters and enjoy a good backstory. I am pretty new but I know basics and things I haven't known I have looked up and learned myself. I've been looking into Spells since I'm still pretty new to them but I get a general idea of how they work. On top of that, if necessary I can DM but I am just now starting to DM for my first real time with a group of friends of mine. Either way I am happy to join in however you need or like. I'd prefer to play since I'm a DM elsewhere, but like I said, I can DM, especially with the preferred play-style your group seems to have.
Well, there is room for 2 other players since we were hoping for a party of 4-5+DM. I suppose post about what kind of character you're hoping to play, and if we can manage to find a DM I'll keep you in mind for one of the player slots.
Do you have any preference of races that will be allowed or is anything okay, and what level should the character be?
I'll edit the original post for Character applications. But anything from the official source books is okay. We're also low on spellcasters right now, and that was something you said you were interested in looking into. For level, I'd say just make sure you have your character prepared up until level 10 since the plan was for the campaign to start between levels 5-10. Again I'll update the original post to outline character applications.
I finally got it done. It took me a bit but I'd say it was worth it.
Experience: Basic knowledge and learning spells. Location/Timezone: CST (Just outside of Nashville West) Game style preference: Casual or Roleplay because as a writer I love a good story. Character development, character lives being reflected, and the world itself coming to life. Character Name: Eleska Raisha Character Class: Cleric Character Story: As a female minotaur, Eleska is an oddity. Most minotaurs born are male, and due to her being a female, she was seen as a possibly weaker fighter. So she was discarded as garbage that could not assist the clan. As she laid, near death on the ground, a priest that had been traveling back to his Temple noticed the crying, dirty child. He did not realize what the creature was until he had gotten closer. He thought about it for a moment, and had almost decided to forget Eleska existed, but as he held her, she grabbed his symbol of Eldath, and began to smile at the shiny thing. As she played with it the priest's eyes met the small child's, and she giggled. He took her in under the Temple and they had taught her about the life she had been given. She learned more and more about the Temple, and the lovely people around her, and as she aged, she grew closer and closer to her deity, loving people more and more. Realizing that kindness and caring can help others through times of unsure or hurting minds or hearts.
