Group type: Online Discord for Voice Chat & Die Rolls with DnD Beyond Character Sheets (Can share resources books for character sheets)
Experience: Veteran DM is LFP of any experience
Location/Timezone: Eastern Time Zone
Schedule: Saturdays afternoons into evenings (Weekly)
Roles sought: 4 Players (5 max)
Game style: I have DM'ed face-to-face for mostly game shops and family (read as: murder hobos that sneak extra hp and spell slots), so looking for trustworthy adult players for this campaign that instead want a longer campaign with collaborative storytelling in a new setting for me (Wildemount).

What to expect:

Combat is mostly theatre of the mind with maps and visuals (but no precise token management). Moderate to heavy roleplay: Actions have consequences, characters need to make chronicles and goals/flaws, and you may be asked to help design parts of adventures revolving around your character. There may also be 'side' adventures that occur as needed to resolve side arcs with 1-2 characters outside of normal schedule.A story is only as a reliable as its actors, so, for attendance: if you can't make a week, that's totally fine, we can bluebook some scenes or automate your actions, but missing two sessions back-to-back unannounced will be character death and player replacement.

Other notes:

Table talk is limited to the general text chat and most off-topic discussion is discouraged, as we all are doing this to relax and have a good time. Voice chat is for in character chat and character actions. New players are welcome, but I may ask you to play a less complex character until you get your feet wet to prevent lots of digression into rules and delays in scenes from shuffling through pages and pages of spells. Same for rules-lawyers - it's great for help with rules in the general chat, but I'm asking for grace about all decisions to prevent breaks in the flow of scenes.

Hello there. I too would be interested in this. I'm relatively new to D&D (I've done a couple one-shots, and an in-person campaign fizzled last year). But I've become an avid follower of Critical Role and would be excited to play in a setting I have some familiarity with. I'm very excited by the Heroic Chronicle and developing a character (and world) and would like to get into some roleplaying. This sounds like fun to me, what time specifically would we be playing? I've been playing for about a year now and my last group destroyed itself in spectacular fashion, we got railroaded by a player going complete murder hobo.
