Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus late Saturday night game

Game style: Starting a new group for Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus. Looking for mature players with WORKING microphones! Will be using Discord for voice, D&D Beyond with Beyond20 plugin for character sheets and Roll20 integration.

Erastus Rasmussen, Order of Scribes (UA) Wizard, is the Forgotten Realms equivalent of a grad student. To complete his education and receive his degree, he must bring back a new specimen to whatever the Museum of Natural History would be. He has decided that he will bring back a sort of demon, as the collection is lacking in that department. Erastus comes from a well-to-do family/background. He was not strong enough to be a knight and not socially acceptable enough to be a courtier/noble/politician, so they *convinced* him to go into academia. He is essentially a Victorian era Explorer.  

As a side note, I am not too terribly well versed with Forgotten Realms lore so we can change Erastus' backstory as needs be.

Skjara, a half-orc with a nack for getting in trouble. Sometimes because of his crude humor and easy to misinterpret, and other times because of her lack of tact and affinity for both fighting and mead. Althought she's still a good mercenary and a better fighter. Physically she looks surprisingly good for a half orc, you could almost say that she is pretty...of course when she's not drunk or trying to beat the shit out of you.

To find the light in the darkness Ivor turned to the gods and found his meaning in life. To serve the god Helm the god of guardians and protectors. He grew up in the Temple of Helm and was sheltered from the outside world. Doing his training and learning the values of Helm. With the limited human interaction he had has a kid (other then the teacher who taught him the History of Helm and to fight) he can find it difficult to talk with people. After completing his training he squired for a bishop of the church Bishous James and showed his prowess in battle and his skill in healing and has given the opportunity to join the council. With the ambition to be on the council of Helm and join the Watchers of the Fallen he has journeyed to Baldur's Gate to prove his worth and spread the word of Helm.

My character is a rogue who was born in the streets of some no-name city. He doesn't care of his beginning any longer. His pitiful upbringing led to him becoming a follower of the Red Knight. With no connection to friends or family, he sees himself as an ideal tool for the Lady of Strategy. He believes that he is an expendable piece to be used in a war bigger than himself. When word that the city of Elturel had disappeared was received at his temple, he was sent with haste to find the source of the disappearence, and surgically remove whatever threat there is. He was sent to bring Ruin.

Backstory: Yenvias is a traveling halfling bard/rouge. He loves telling a good story and does what his heart tells him. For years he has been on the road, gathering info on all the lands and committing a few petty crimes. He has a noble heart, doing things to help the communities he travels to.
