Looking for new players only for a homebrew diablo, darksouls, style campgain

Hi all I am a Dm of two years and am starting a new campaign. I am seeking new players only as the other members of this campaign are new as well.  This will be a game that has a fair amount of encounters a decent amount of rp (pending player interaction) and puzzles with exploring dungeons, ruins, etc. Backstory and character motivations will be important and be incorporated into the story. 18+ only no exceptions.

Story: The town of Tristram resides in the country of Sanctuary. A once prosperous country now lies in ruins. The king has called for heroes to come and lend aid against the incursion of demons, fiends, and other things that go bump in the night. Despite sanctuary being surrounded by other countries in the continent of wildemount adventures steer clear of Tristram due to the rumors surrounding the country.

Greetings. I'm a brand new player to D&D, played a partial session about three years ago, had a great time, but never got back into it until recently thanks to Critical Roll.

I'm a quick study and have been pouring over player handbook material and looking at the rules of the game. I have years of RP experince through World of Warcrft, so I know how to craft a character story, just looking to step into a new type of RP. I'm 31 and still like to have some nerdy fun
