Looking for players who may be new to the game, or haven't played for a while, for some serial one-shots with inter-connected themes. I'm a DM just getting back into running games, and figuring out how to make it all work online. No commitment to a long term campaign necessary, this is about having fun in a safe and respectful environment, discovering how this all works, and (hopefully) making new friends.
I run inclusive games where it's safe to learn and try new things, that welcome people from all backgrounds and identities, and where we all respect each other and want to see everyone in the party enjoying themselves. The setting is on my home brew world Orbiss, with each one-shot including wider themes and arcs - so if you like the game, you can drop in for further one-shots that will continue a broader story beyond the one shot adventure. Aiming for a balance of role play, combat and problem solving. The world has a fair bit of lore that can be discovered (or that you can become part of!), if that's your thing as well.
Let me know your preferred contact method (Skype, email, discord, smoke signals etc.) and your timezone in your reply.
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online - using roll20 as the virtual TT, DnD beyond for character sheets is preferred (but alternates also work). Experience: New, uncurrent, or happy to play with people who are new/uncurrent. We'll do a one on one session 0 with each player to sort out your character and backstory as required. Location/Timezone: Australian Eastern Standard time (AEST), which is 10 hours ahead of GMT. Schedule: Sunday evenings AEST, aiming for 6th September kick off (google does a good conversion to what crazy times that might translate to for those on the other side of the planet) Roles sought: Players - probably going to limit the group size to no more than 6, so my tiny DM brain can keep track. Game style: Mixed - role play, puzzles/problem solving, combat - focussed on fun and inclusiveness.
Hey there, I'm interested in joining. i'm from the Philippines so my timezone is GMT+8 so i guess there's not much time difference. my Discord is JoenearJoefar#7184 and email is silentsecret2015@gmail.com. I'm a complete newbie and am very willing to learn the game.

I’m actually in American central time zone so if the start time is around 7pm-8pm for you that’s perfect for me. It would be 10pm-11pm for me. My discord is fr3akalpha#4348
Hi, I’m interested in playing as well. I’m also on AEST. I have limited experience and would be up for a one shot or two. DM here or JayTas#1272 Discord
Hey I'm interested in playing. AEST timezone. Never played D&D before, unless you count stuff like Baldur's Gate 1&2, though I have been watching a bunch of the Critical Role campaign 2 videos on Youtube and picking stuff up from that and am very willing to learn more. Don't have Discord yet but will be getting it sooner rather than later.
I've never done D&D before, but have wanted to forever. I wanna join your group so I can learn to play. My timezone is EST, or GMT -5. My discord is Neko Nico#1415, and my email is kirklandcollin@gmail.com.
Hey guys, thanks for all the responses. the 6th Sep game is full, but I'll be running another one late Sep / early Oct. I'll put out another post then :-)
Back story: Grew up as an orphan who was taken in by a drown trader.
