Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: A few years Location/Timezone: UK Schedule: Various days based on player availability Roles sought: Group Game style: Replay and narrative focus
Looking for a campaign to join, my difficulty is I work shifts meaning two days 7am -7pm then two nights 7pm – 7am with four days off meaning I don’t have a set day every week I’m going to be free so a game with variable days or a DM who can work with me to have a viable character that is popping in and out would be awesome. I'm extremely dedicated to a group when it's there it's just getting past that hurdle for some DMs seems to be an issue, and I get it.
Other than that I’ve a little experience on all VTTs but mostly proficient on Roll20, macros galore and have all the books on D&D Beyond to pull content in for creation or to share for adventures and modules. Very good at compartmentalising what I know vs what a character knows.
I prefer a narrative driven game with role play and lore over hack and slash murder hobo, I’ll eat that lore up, if I have a primer expect a backstory linked to the world with living parents for you to bring back to torture me with later. I enjoy a nice clever dungeon delve as much as an open sandbox or intrigue. Not overly a fan of playing via text but I can adapt. I’ve played 11-hour-long sessions and 2-hour-long sessions so timewise if it’s a day I’m not working I’m down to roll dice.
Every Wednesday 9am EDT, i run a long-term campaign. You could join, alternating weeks. We could also welcome you every 2 Friday. Even if blinking every 2 weeks, a dedicated player would do well on the long run. Create a level 1 and play with us. We do voice on Google Meet and maps on roll20.
I have been trying to organise a group within the UK but so far, despite some initial enthusiasm and work, several of the proposed players have been very quiet of late and one is unable to find the necessary time. This leaves us with only three players available to play on a Friday night, although I have also been in discussion with one person to play during a daytime if we can find more players and maybe agree on a Tuesday.
Either way, you may wish to check out my initial post to see if there is anything there that appeals. At the moment there is a likely vacancy, and I’m used to players having reduced availability and having to plan for their absence through a variety of measures that would still keep you engaged in a limited way even when away from the (VT) table.

Thanks for reaching out, I can't really commit to alternating weeks for definite. Every couple of months it would have to be at least two weeks without me being there but the timing works out really well for me in the UK. If you have a free spot this Wednesday I'd love to drop by and join in for a session and we can both see how I fit in with your dynamic.
Ok, blinking player. Have a try with us. Let's text chat on discord. Prepare a level 1 character. It'll be more diplomacy the next 8h of gameplay, then will become a 80h-long dungeon crawl.

Thanks sounds interesting. With FG are you hosting as Ultimate so I could join on the Demo account?
