Role-Play Not Roll-Play Hopeful

Hey there!  Am a mature player (yes, I had the original boxed set way back when) who played on and off until 3.5.  Took a break, and want to get back into it because I miss the camaraderie of the table, frankly.  Free most evenings throughout the week, I have discord, and just picked up some of the new 5.0 source materials.  Open to most campaign and play types, although whacky homebrew rules will get the eyebrow, and am too damn old for player/DM drama.
