Game: D&D 5e Group type: Face-to-face Experience: Any level welcome, we will get you up to speed if you haven't played before. Location/Timezone: EST Schedule: Saturdays 1pm - 6:00pm EST Roles sought: Player (Play what you want, majority of races are ok to play) Game style: hack'n'slash with some light role play
The group is level 8 and have been playing for six months now. We are using modules from official D&D, prior editions of D&D updated to 5E, DM's Guild and Homebrew. The campaign is set to go to level 20 with a coherent story line. Advancement is based on XP and the party is level 8 now. We currently have five and could add another player to help with work schedules.
Hi! i would love to roll up a character and play. This is a time that works good for me! Lately I have been reading a lot about old classic modules and wondering if i'll ever have a chance to experience them.
edit: i guess i should say i played 2e (planescape) when i was a kid, 3.5 in my 20s and then 5e a couple years back and recently started a new 5e live group and i'm hooked all over again.
I would be interested in joining if a slot is still available. I'm happy to share a couple of character concepts if selected.
A little about me, experience: A few years of IRL, relatively new to online Location/Timezone: Based in Amsterdam, timezone is GMT+2 (Six hours ahead of EST, so North America morning/afternoon games also work.) Availability: Saturday Evenings from 8:00 - Midnight (some flexibility). Ideally looking for an every other Saturday evening campaign. Can commit to every Saturday if campaign needs. Preferred role: Player Game style: For me the ideal game night would be something like, everyone on time, have either a combat or social role-play/exploration focused session, ending with a cliffhanger where everyone has fun and feels included. I know not every session is perfect, but that is the ideal.

How long have you been playing roleplaying games? I started out playing AD&D 2nd ed. a long time ago, but was never committed. I've dabbled with a few TTRPG's such as Shadowrun, Call of Cthulu, and Pathfinder, but was never serious. Most recently I've been playing D&D 5e and really have enjoyed it.
I'm relatively new to playing online so I've been playing most recently on Roll20 as a virtual tabletop, for the character sheet I prefer DND Beyond and will often use the Beyond20 chrome extension, overall though I would say I'm a beginner when it comes to the virtual table top area. Similair w/ Disord which I've been using most recently as a voice server.
As a player, I'm more of an introvert IRL but enjoy the creativity, problem solving, and community storytelling that D&D enables. It has been a great way for me to meet new people both in person and online. I do have to balance real life work and family, so when I dedicate a time-slot for a campaign, I make sure to be committed to it.
