Gundren Rockseeker, a cantankerous, Dwarven prospector has hired you and a small party to escort a wagon of goods to the frontier town of Phandalin....and so begins your adventure.
Welcome to Lokerstar Gaming. I've been playing D&D since the early 90's and after a long hiatus have caught the bug again. I'm looking for a group interested in having a good time and possibly move on after this introductory module to either run more modules or step into my own adventures. I've adapted Murder in Baldur's Gate to 5e which is an ideal next adventure because it's easy to adjust to levels the party will be at after Phandelver. No experience is necessary, all are welcome, all I ask is you be respectful to one another and like to play Dungeons & Dragons. The first session is free and after that it will be $5USD per game paid through Paypal.
A little about me, as I said I'm an experienced DM who's been playing RPG's since the only way to play them was with a pencil and piece of paper. I'm very familiar with the history and lore of Forgotten Realms and will be catering the game setting to be as immersive as possible with the greater history and happenings of the realms. Lost Mines, particularly the opening sequences, has a frontier town in the Old West feel to it and I definitely like running it that way. Think shootouts in the town square and a collage of townsfolk with their own dispositions and motives for engaging with a group of sell swords who just happened into town. I like to run a casual yet earnest game with a bit of humour(hopefully) and most importantly one we will all enjoy. Sessions will be set to last between 3 and 4 hours and we'll get started as soon as we have a party of 3 or more.
We'll be playing on Roll20 and using discord, you can use D&Dbeyond character sheets or roll20, I'm not fussed either way.
