Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online, Roll20 Experience: Any Location/Timezone: MDT Schedule: Schedule is TBD, generally once or twice a week Roles sought: Player, 4+ Game style: I plan on running a book adventure. I am very interested in playing through Balder's Gate: Descent int Avernus.
I am a well-practiced DM who has recently wrapped up my main game and I'm looking for another. I'm going to the community to find my players for this one! I'm looking for a least 4 players to participate in a Roll20 game consistently. I am hoping to find players with any level of experience. The only requirement is a good attitude and a basic comprehension of the game.
Direct message me or reply here if you're interested or have any questions!
Hi!! I’m a fairly new player to DnD (I’ve played 2 campaigns that were 3-6 weeks long. And a 3 one shots) but I would love to join your campaign if you’ll have me :)
Hey, I will be interested to learn more. I had some experience playing for 4 months, so not completely new, plus read the rulebook. Looking forward to play a campaign if all works out.
I've got details and a possible character pitch there, please let me know your thoughts here or via PM and if it looks good we can exchange Discord info from there!
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Returning player, a few years of experience Location/Timezone: Seattle Area Availability: Weeknights after 6, and Weekends Preferred role: Player Game style: Looking for a semi casual group with that will be fun to RP with, but still looking for some good combat
Late to the party but i'd be interested.. for roll20 though. Are you rocking text only, voice only, or voice and video only? I've mainly played text only, have kind of wanted to try voice lately though-in part due to quaratine isolation meaning less interactions haha. I've played maybe 20hrs of 5E total (post by post and one shots), but have 10+ years in terms of Pathfinder, Starfinder and Exalted. Mostly text based but the ones further back were in person and or voice online. ALmost all my online play has been through roll20 (skype before that)
In terms of player style. I'm a sidekick sorta guy. I like helping others excel in their work, rather than being a lead character. (name an RPG and I could probably name the side character I dentify with. Well its harder with more recent ones as I am in my 30s and have played most often older RPGs and replay).
Character wise. I'd really aim to rock out with an Alchemist Artificer, with some warlock dips (Undead UA or Genie UA). Sort of depends on what restrictions you ultimately place on things though. I've got a few backstories of different versions of this character (diff dips, pure singel class, etc). The goal is to use warlock to open up Alchemist options, and use the warlock's flavor as a starting point for the Alchemist. (Either learning it to surpress the undead in them. Or making a deal with the genie for knowledge). If HOMEBREW is an option though. INT warlock would be awesome. Or editing Elixirs. but UA, homebrew, etc, isn't expected or anything. Most of my previous games have been "no varients" (no feats/multiclass etc). Though pure alchemist is a bit wonky I found from lv 1-6. If you'd like to review the couple of backstories I have for the differnet versions, feel free to ask I can DM them to you. (I also have a list of homebrew that I got to use for a One Shot featuring a version of this character-Int warlock, elixir's increase, got to switch out certain cantrips that didn't work with Alchemist features to other cantrips that would.)
I've never played any 5E AP before. but this is absolutely one i have interest in. More so due to how it apparently ties in to baulders gate 3? I played 1 and 2 on PC a fair bit as a child. (and then the console version's 3 games as well)
My time is Mountain Standard (US) but my area does not do daylight savings (so atm. we are 1hr behind-and after daylight savings we'l be the same time again). I work M-F 8-5+transit time; have a long running pathfinder game fridays. Weekends preferred (early morning or evening/late evening extra preferred) but weekdays between work and bed are certainly doable-though would be restricted to 3-330 limit session, and would have to account for daylight savings. (i.e. if the game started now at 6pm Mountain. that would be 5pm for me-i'd be leaving work. but once Daylight savings occurs, it'd be 6pm for me again).
would love to join your game. fairly new with roll20 and DnD but im a quick learner. i enjoy throwing in some roll play anbd tryign to include the gorup as much as i can. Sub me in coach!

Hi Peter,
Would love to join if you don't mind a first time player. Let me know if you'll have any player slots left.
