Looking for one player to join us in our CoS campaign. We are currently sitting at 3 players about 6 sessions in.
We currently have a Kenku Warlock, Furbolg Druid, and a Half elf Ranger
If you are interested you will start at level 5 with some extra equipment and money. Our sessions are on Sundays from 3-6pm Pacific Time
If you are interested, please message me back with your experience playing DnD and what character you are interested in bringing. We use discord for our sessions and are in the process of implementing fantasy grounds to our sessions.
Hello, I'm a beginner/intermediate player, who has a good understanding of the base mechanics, but lacking in experience with spells. (You'll see why that's important.)
I have two different characters I'm hoping to use. One is Uggu, a half orc with 1 level in bard, 4 in totem barbarian. He's a TN character who simply enjoys playing the lute. His motive is to get enough money to make it into bard college, taking any job, rarely caring about the danger. Intelligence level you'd expect from a barbarian, but with a lute and a sleep spell.
The other possible character is Zoge, another Half Orc, this time with 1 level in barbarian, and 4 in necromancer wizard. Zoge is a NE character I wanted to try out, being a violent barbarian orc who suddenly discovered the power of KNOWLEGE, and now seeks to grow his power in whatever way he can. Easily manipulated, prone to monologues, total lack of self-awareness, etc. Essentially, he wants to sound like the BBEG, but often just comes off as a barbarian with a thesaurus.
If either character sounds interesting, send me a friend request. I should be able to attend pretty consistently.
A character idea I was messing around with was a Fallen Aasimar Bard named Ayensu who became fallen when he was cast out of his noble home for his eyes turning black (Haunted One).
The character doesn't know this but the entity inside (that makes him a "haunted one" ) is just as confused about the whole situation as Ayensu is. Being cast out with nowhere to go with nothing more than a lute by his side when he was forced to leave his home he became a bard as it was just a way to make a living. He became fairly well known however because of just how odd it was to see a dark Aasimar let alone one that sang happy joy filled songs in taverns and the occasional theatre. Ayensu is sort of just pushing himself to stay positive regardless of circumstance. Having made a name for himself as a bard he often gets offers to hire him on to play for nobles or to write ballads about the feats of adventurers. This has led to him sort of fantasizing about going on his own adventure with a group of real friends (he isn't entirely certain if the entity inside is real or not) to seek his own wealth and glory.
So that's the basic idea that I had. But I'd also be down to change him into a barbarian/fighter type if your group needs a tank I could rewrite it a bit to make it fit. Was also thinking about making him a sorcerer and instead of being well known as a bard he would've just become a mercenary of some sort which would fit as a barbarian as well.
Anyway, I'm still fairly new to DnD. I have 2 campaigns with my friends every week but 1 group is taking a bit of a break since the DM is working and one of our players is off to become a policeman so yeah. Just looking for another group and to continue to learn and have fun.
Hi! I'm very interested in playing and hope I'm not too late.
I've been playing D&D (in one form or another) for over 20 years, with about 4 years of 5E experience, mostly as a DM in home-brew settings. I've not played Strahd and am excited to try it.
For my character, I have a Paladin (oath of ancients) ready to go. I rolled him for another campaign and never got to play him, but I will, of course, modify his stats/story/etc to reflect your game. Basic idea is as follows:
Sir Isaac is a vestige of a once proud order that has been ostracized and dissolved. He is an an older knight who has lived a life of service, followed by years wandering the roads with no home to call his own. He endeavors to help those in need, per the creed of his former order, but no longer has a firm allegiance to any one kingdom. Despite everything that has happened to him, he has maintained the Light in his heart. He lives a life of passion and jubilance, seeing beauty in the world wherever he goes. However, the grizzled veteran is ever ready for the threats of the road, and takes to his blade with equal zeal.
I have plenty of alternates available and ready to go as well, including an Arcane Trickster a War (or Light, depending) Cleric. Isaac is just my favorite at this time.
My discord is CFernandez#5931. I hope to hear from you!
I have a human warlock named Bernard that I think is ready for the big times. He's a pact of the great old one, and an archaeologist. He's neutral good, and doesn't really understand how he has the abilities that he has; they manifested after a dig gone wrong. I have a detailed backstory that I can send you if you are interested.
He's also a little absent minded, and tends to get lost in books and in his thoughts. He also has a yellow and green pseudodragon familiar named Wallace.
My Sundays are free, and I pride myself on being reliably on time for games.
I'm fairly experienced with 5e, I run my own game on Saturdays so I'm fairly adept when it comes to rules and the like.
Send me a DM if this sounds like something you'd want in your game!
Hello, Hopefully, there is still spots but if not I understand.

I've been playing off and on for a year or so now, whenever I can I play, I got two ideas, ones Coravel who is Half-Elf Paladin Of Devotion, whose family has always been a line of knights and brave adventurers, He personally fights to earn the respect of his family as a knight despite his past. and then there's Reakos who is a morally ambiguous tiefling barbarian with a vendetta against fiends and an assortment of mental issues he pretends he doesn't have, He fights to make the world a little bit safer and who better to fight monsters than a monster.
