I was notified by one of my players this morning that they had to drop due to work. The adventure is Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden. The party has 1 Druid, 1 Monk, 1 Barbarian, and 1 Ranger and the party is currently at lvl 2. Stats will be allocated via point buy or rolling for stats. There are a few restrictions I have for character creation. Winged races, UA and evil PCs are banned at the table. Homebrew is allowed after review. I will not be accepting drama queens, loners, lone wolves, broody type edgelords, asshats, problem players or that guy/girl. If you are the type of player that ghosts then I ask you to pls not apply. I have had to deal with ghosting players in the past and its always annoying, frustrating and rude for both myself as DM and the players in the group. I would prefer that those apply be familiar with Roll20 and knows its workings. Sessions are every Wednesdays at 8:30PM EST. Serious players will be considered first and are preferred. Should you be interested feel free to fill out an application by following the template below and putting my name at the end to confirm you understand all info posted. I will conducting an interview before bringing anyone in of course. Cheers!

Why would you like to join my campaign? I've been constantly searching for a campaign for the past two weeks where role-play is one of the main elements as I've only started to make that a focus for any kind of RPG setting. I haven't been very successful as the groups that I do manage to join have varying glaring issues that hinder the goals I have in mind. Those issues mainly being DMs that are never available for any discussion whatsoever, world setting where some things are not grounded or sensible (i.e. balancing, plot/story, things like that) and characters that are either bland, overpowered, or both. Because of these issues a lot of the character ideas that I have in mind that are given a pass are basically wasted and I hope to re-use them in campaigns that are more to my liking. I would like to think I'm not picky, but my first personal experiences of D&D ever was ruined by a DM who was somewhat experienced in being a dungeon master but because of their laziness, un-coordination and, a lack of a better word, *******-ness ruined that first experience. I'm not looking for pity saying that, just trying to explain the past issues that I've had that otherwise would make me look like a pompous prick.
Character Idea: Either a Kobold, who is a smith's assistant, named Damascus (class up to discussion), a Tabaxi Rogue who works with an organization of some kind so they can find their missing sibling, or a Tiefling Warlock who was originally going to be sacrificed to their patron but ended up making a pact instead. I can go with any of these and discuss the details on how they would fit into the setting of the campaign or I'd be willing to make another character, your choice.
How familiar with Roll20 are you and if so how well do you know it? Most of my experience of D&D has been on Roll20.
Any other info you would like to disclose: Is that time A.M. or P.M.? How are NPCs presented, as in how they would talk or look? Do you give players, during respective times, to have moments such as having a conversation with one another?
Why would you like to join my campaign? I've been trying to get into a Rime campaign for awhile now. I've been in two group both that fell apart due to DM dropping out at the last second. I love the lore of the North and really would like to explore everything it has to offer. Ten towns is one of my favorite locations in all of the Sword Coast and I really want to experience the hardship that the climate and everything else has to offer. I'm looking for a serious group that likes to have fun.
Character Idea: Seems like you need a charismatic class with some potential healing capabilities, so I would love to play a half elf divine soul sorc. Focused mostly on support first and damage dealing second. If however that druid and the ranger are healing focused I would then change that to a Half elf Warlock. Going hexblade and pact of the chain. That way I can support front or back line as still bring the needed charisma to the group.
How familiar with Roll20 are you and if so how well do you know it? I am very familiar with Roll20, custom API's, macros, and scripts.
Any other info you would like to disclose? No I think that about covers it.
Experience: I have DM'd for roughly 7 years. I understand 5e to the core, as i typically play that over other TTRPGS.

Why would you like to join my campaign? As a forever DM, i am naturally looking to finally get to play without knowing every secret. I don't know anything about the setting, and am very fond of being a stranger in a new land. Weds work good for me, you seem to have a grasp on what you want and who your seeking, and your
Character Idea: A Mage hating Minotaur Fighter (Mage slayer feat, namely), due to past complications with wizards and clerics in his past. A Divine Soul Sorcerer with connections to a important god to the setting, though he doesn't fully understand the god itself, or the religion surrounding it. A Forge Domain Dragonborn Cleric who uses his natural fire breath in the smithing and spellcasting he does.
How familiar with Roll20 are you and if so how well do you know it? I use it whenever i play with someone who doesn't own Tabletop Simulator.
Any other info you would like to disclose? I will be able to better explain character idea's once i know more about the setting and how long you plan on running the campaign.
