I just moved to the Corvallis, OR area recently and would like to strike up a group.
I have a long-running homebrew world (Dawn of Hope). It's a persistent world--what one party does affects the world for all later parties. I tend to run relatively open-world games, although you'll pick a quest seed to give you a reason to go to a particular location and start your adventure. I have lots of homebrew content (the world is significantly different from the "stock" lore), but very few homebrew rules.
I'd love if the players were all local so that (virus permitting) we could meet up in person, but not too picky. I have a long history with teaching new players to play--I ran a D&D club for 5 years at a high school where I taught before moving here. So new people/first-timers are completely welcome.
I have a full subscription to D&D Beyond and will share content (all core books). I plan on running games via Discord (lightphyre#1791) for voice and Foundry VTT for a battlemap as needed. You don't have to worry about all the details of that--I'm using it more as a source of visuals than anything. I have a Discord channel that I can link.
Contact me here, on Discord, or via email at admiral0@admiralbenbo.org.

Did you ever find that group?
Sorry, yes. This is closed now.
Bummer, but thanks.
