Game: D&D 5e (Dragon Heist from level 1 and then another module or home-brew after) Group preferred: Face-to-face preferred (taking Covid precautions) or Online (Video Call) Experience: 4 years, 1000+ hours played Location/Timezone: Orange County, CA, USA Availability: Evenings after 7PM PST (any day) Frequency: Weekly Preferred Preferred role: DM Game style: Long-form timeline - An even mix of combat, roleplay, and exploration game modes (including tool proficiency) Commitment Level: High (basically, be respectful of everyone's time)
My name is Connor. I've been playing DND for the last four years or so and I’ve got 1000+ hours of game time—more than half of which I have DMed.
I'm looking for folks that can balance having a good time and also engaging the game with the seriousness it requires to fully enjoy it. The best games—in my opinion—have an even mix of combat, roleplay, and exploration. I like a smaller group, no more than 5 players + 1 DM. I'm not interested in an evil campaign, erotic campaign, etc. Critical Role is a good gauge of the type of content I aim for—though I don't claim to be anywhere near professional. Leveling would be milestone progression (slower than the typical campaign, likely). I intend to use tool proficiency as an active part of the game (I have some systems). I like to work with players on what they want and am willing to homebrew/tweak some things. Feel free to ask. I would be running Waterdeep Dragon Heist (starting level 1) and then transfer into either my own content or into Mad Mage or other modules. Would assess at the time.
If you are interested please DM me with a bit about who you are and what you are looking for. If you seem like a good fit (no crazy vibes, etc.) I'll schedule an interview call. Though, a certain kind of crazy is acceptable.
