Family group of 2 adult couples looking for a somewhat experienced DM to introduce us to the game via Zoom. We have all made Level 1 characters according to the Player Handbook with a varied (and somewhat odd) mix of capabilities: Half-Orc Cleric, Halfling Bard, Dwarf Ranger, and Dark Elf Rogue.
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: New Location/Timezone: EST Schedule: Sunday night preferred; week nights for 1 hr sprints Roles sought: DM Game style: Casual
I like to bring in new players to the community so I'd also be willing to walk you through introductions on roll20 for free; I have a campaign at 4pm tonight but I have 1 hour free from 3-4pm PST for help. If you aren't opposed to paid games I have a $10 oneshot that is a great introduction to dnd and eberron. Saturday 5pm PST.

I'm liking this website more and more; currently playing a Blood Hunter! Roll20 is where I play DnD 5E.
I can simply run a game on zoom or Skype preferably I'm 30 with a little over a year DM experience. I'm no voice actor but a good story narrator, if don't mind not having maps and doing it the old way without roll20. The group I play with every Friday we use physical maps and minis but I have taken zero time learning dungeon fog or roll20. My wife would probably play a character also
That kinda sounds like our speed. I don't think any of us are ready to dive into heavy voice acting role play and just want a decent introduction to the game and see how it goes. Have you typically done milestone or xp-based leveling?

Good afternoon Nogaro, you say you can play on weeknights for 1 hour sprints, that's generally far too short to do anything meaningful in DND, are there any other days of the week that you and your group can commit to for 3 to 4 hour sessions?
Mature gamers? I'm near 50. Might I join your group? As a player?
I Played with my friends as a teen and some in college. circa 1985. I probably have the original DMG PG MM etc. I have a ton of old Dungeon and Dragon magazines from that time as well. I'm just trying to meet cool people who want to get lost in their imaginations. Example. My main character Melot, after he became a lord, hired assassins to get his do gooder wife out of the picture. (In fairness he changed after they fell in love while . . .) And he tried to get his daughter off Euphoria Dragon breath weapon extract (for sale in my campaign think like black lotus) so he could marry her off to get the. . . you get the idea. Our world went places!

Probably Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday if it starts early enough. I was hoping we'd be able to break up adventures into multiple sessions.
