Hi, my name's Anarchy. I've never played dnd before but I'd really like to start. I don't mind if I join a group that's already been formed or just a bunch of random players coming together. My timezone is GMT and I'm usually free from 5 pm onwards. I don't mind playing over discord. Would anyone be interested in joining me?
Hello Anarchy, I've also never played before and would be interested in joining a LGBTQ+ friendly group. If you do create a group I would be very interested in joining you all, preferably as an adventurer but I wouldn't mind trying my hand as a DM.
no, it doesn't really but it is mostly just to know that people except you and are not going to be toxic if you bring up your sexuality. this is coming from a pansexual person.
It just means the players aren't hostile towards LGBTQ+ people. As an open bisexual and (now) genderqueer person I don't hide who I am and face backlash for it. The last thing I, or people like me, would want to do is get friendly with other players and excited for a first session only to be discriminated against by a long standing member of that group and be made to feel unwelcome.
Hello! If you don't mind another new player, I would be very interested in joining such a group as well! I'm working from home these days, so I can arrange to play at most times, as long as no one minds me occasionally stepping away for a moment or two to handle my dog. I'd prefer to be an adventurer, not a DM. If interested, please let me know.
Hello AnarchyTheEnby, I’m also new to dnd and am ok with LGBTQ+ so may I join the group? Due to Covid-19 I don’t have much going on except some work starting from 9:00 to 3:30 only on weekdays, sorry if this isn’t acceptable for your schedule, if you allow me in I will inform you when I have a break.

Ally here, I am totally down for joining a group, I can do some DMing with but I prefer to play. I am a DND veteran, been playing since I was 10 and have 16 years experience, so I can help with the new people. I also have a friend who LGBT+ who might be interested in joining as well
I know you can be in a zoom call without video on, but is it possible to set an avatar to show instead? That way people could have something to depict characters instead if they don't want to be on video
Well, I suppose you could turn the video on and then set the character as the green screen background and face the camera to a wall? That might work unless it's too complex.

How is a LGBT group different from a regular dnd group? Genuinely curious as being LGBT doesn't really change the game

Hey! I am also a (very) new player and I'm LGBTQ+. I'd be super interested in this group!
Hi! I'm surprised that so many people responded haha. Do you all have discord? Should I create a server?
Hey I'm new as well, would it be possible if I could join, I just made a character and trying to find a campaign. <3
Yeah of course! The more the merrier.

We could do it over zoom but I'm not sure how many people would be comfortable showing their faces. We definitely could though!

Or you could change your profile pic to your avatar.
