Looking for any info on hard ware programs an so forth info
Not sure if you're asking about programs to play dnd in general or specifically about my post, but I can maybe answer some things? There are a few main ways to play dnd, Play by post (just messages), Theatre of mind (just voice) and Virtual table tops (using hardware). Most sessions are a mixture of them. The most common virtual table tops are, Roll 20 , Fantasy grounds, Tabletop simulator and Foundry VTT (which I'm using). They all have their own benefits: For Foundry VTT (the "Hardware") I'm using, the players will just connect to a link I send them and play.
